Aconcagua, Highest Mountain in The Americas
Here I am sitting in front of the tallest mountain in both the Americas AND the Western Hemisphere, mighty Aconcagua, in Argentina. Elevation 6,960 meters ASL. We met some Koreans who climbed this mountain at a hostel in the town of Mendoza, and they were still going to the hospital on a regular basis in order to replenish body fluids sucked dry when climbing the mountain. In other words, they were adhering to the intravenous solution. We took these pics the last day of 2013.
That is Aconcagua, far in the distance, tallest point in both the Americas AND the Western Hemisphere. Picture taken last day of December, 2013.
Two Koreans who climbed (in red and black caps), or better put “survived” going up and coming down from Aconcagua. These guys were still going to the local clinic each day in order to be put on the intravenous drip.
Sun me in front of Aconcagua. Notice the elevation on the sign is different from that of Wikileaks. Which do you trust?
